Alcon

Alcon is one of the biggest manufacturers of contact lenses and contact solution around the world and is the result of the merger of Alcon and Ciba Vision. Both Alcon and Ciba Vision have always been known for their innovative new product and technological developments. For example, Ciba Vision was the first manufacturer to use the silicone hydrogel technology; these lenses allow up to five times more oxygen through to the cornea than regular hydrogel lenses, which means they are perfectly suited for people with persistently dry eyes.

Alcon offers a wide range of one-day, one-month and coloured contact lenses and contact solution. The most well-known Alcon products are the Focus Dailies one-day contacts, Dailies Aqua one-day contacts, Dailies Total1 one-day contacts, and Air Optix Aqua one-month lenses. Their most well-known contact solutions are Opti-Free and Aosept.
